The European University of Rome is a scientific and academic community that fosters cultural development and contributes to scientific research. Respecting the autonomy of knowledge, it promotes a conception of science that serves the person, human dignity, and civil coexistence among peoples, in accordance with the spirit of Catholicism, its principles of freedom, and the principles of the Italian Constitution.
In line with its ecclesiastical body, the Congregation of the Legionaries of Christ, the university’s mission is to prepare individuals who are committed and capable of addressing and resolving cultural and social issues according to the spirit and ethics of the Gospel. The institution aims to train individuals and professionals who can make a constructive contribution to society.
The educational offerings of the European University of Rome are divided into “areas of teaching and research,” within which academic activities are conducted, covering the humanities and social sciences. Students, who are selected through an admission test, receive a solid cultural education enriched by internship experiences with affiliated entities and companies.
Students are closely followed throughout their academic journey and are also supported in their professional choices and entry into the workforce through the Departmental Job Placement Center.
